We have a very easy way to upgrade your 72. RC Transmitter! You simply unplug the small module at the back of your transmitter, and plug in the Corona 2.4, and that is it.  Our new Corona 2.4GHz transmitter module and receiver are designed to completely eliminate radio interference and glitches which have troubled model hobbyists
for years. The software designed exclusively for the transmitting module and receiver instantly locates and assigns safe and protected channels.
Other flyers in the area can not create interference that normally would corrupt transmitter signals.

The Corona 2.4GHz  adheres strictly to Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) communication standards by constantly switching across a wide band of frequencies. Combining Corona’s software with FHSS we have designed a transmitter and receiver capable of providing modelers the highest performing radio system available.

Here is a video of a beginner making use of the RC Helicopter Training Kit, in learning to hoover an RC Wasp V2 Helicopter (simulator included). You can see, as demonstrated, the importance of using the training kit in gradually learning to make the remote control helicopter lift-off, hoover and land. It is a very inexpensive way to prevent costly accidents. However, please remember the importance of first practicing on an RC Flight Simulator to learn the feel of the controls, before attempting your maiden flight.

Before attempting to fly your remote control helicopter, it would be a wise investment of time to get it right, using an rc flight simulator first. It will protect your prime investment, the rc helicopter model itself. Here are some additional pointers to follow, when learning to fly using a simulator (sim), that we have found from the pros:  Read the rest of this entry »

RC Flight SimulatorI found this great article, written by Andre McFayden, that I thought my customers would like to see. The principles apply both to flying RC airplanes and RC helicopters.

RC airplane flying is a fun and challenging hobby. The time and expense of learning to fly remote control airplanes has been greatly reduced in recent years. RC flight simulators have been one reason for this. These are programs that run on your home pc, allowing you to practice “virtual” flight. Here are some tips for getting the most out of your rc flight simulator (”sim”).
